The philosophy of the CRANSTON GIRLS TRAVEL BASKETBALL program (formerly CYGBA) is to use basketball to develop life skills our girls will need to succeed on and off the basketball court. Our coaches are passionate about basketball but believe that development is the most important criteria for a successful program.
For those who were familiar with the Cranston Youth Girls Basketball Association (CYGBA), our program will continue to offer the same high quality travel basketball program CYGBA offered throughout its existence. While travel basketball is offered as a more competitive option for youth girl basketball players, in our program it is also a safe place to learn to love basketball and develop skills to grow as a basketball player.
